COVID-19 Update

Pastor Mark Bishop has a special announcement about COVID-19 and moving forward during this time.

COVID-19 Update

March 17, 2020

In light of recent developments and after much thinking, praying and seeking the counsel of Pastors, denominational leaders and medical professionals the leadership of FBC Landrum believes it is in the best interest of the well being of our members and our community for us to suspend all on campus gatherings for the next two weeks. This includes all Sunday and Wednesday evening activities as well as all other group gatherings and meetings.

During this time of separation we will livestream broadcast our Sunday worship services each week at 10:00am on both Facebook Live and at our website www.fbclandrum.com. We would encourage you to use this opportunity to reach out to neighbors and family, or maybe your SS class could host small group watch parties to enjoy the fellowship together. If you do not have the ability to watch the services live we will have dvd’s of the services available on Monday afternoon that you can pick up or we would be happy to deliver to you if needed. Simply contact the church office and we will do everything necessary to help.

During this time the church office will remain open with normal business hours (Mon. -Thur. 8-5 Fri. 8-1). If you need to talk to or pray with someone please reach out to us at anytime as we are here for you to help navigate these difficult days.

Finally, I want to remind you that we as a church are heavily invested in missions endeavors both locally and around the world. Many of these organizations and individuals rely heavily on our support to fund their ministries. This is only possible because of your generosity and obedience to the call of God to give and it will be needed now more than ever. I do understand that many of you may be impacted financially and we are simply asking you to do what you can. This can be done online at our website fbclandrum.com or by mail or drop it by the church office.

These are unprecedented times and we have an opportunity to shine the light of Jesus into a world full of fear and confusion. Remember, God has not left us but will use this pandemic, and His people, to bring glory to Himself and salvation to our world.

In Christ,

Pastor Mark
