Important Announcement Concerning Regathering

Please read the Important announcement regarding our coming back together for Worship!

Dear Church Family,

We are excited to announce that our leadership believes it is time to reopen our Campus for worship on a limited basis. We have not come to this decision lightly and stress that the safety of our members is the highest priority in this reopening. We would like to encourage all of those who may not be comfortable returning to on-site worship to rest assured we will continue to livestream all of our services for you to take part. We also want each member not to feel obligated to be present, as your safety should be your greatest concern and we completely respect all those who choose to continue worshiping remotely for a while longer. However, for those who are ready to attend worship in-person, below is the plan for the next few weeks.

Beginning this Sunday, May 10, 2020 we will have two worship services, one at 8:30 am and the other at 10:30 am with no Sunday School. We will also continue to livestream the 10:30 am service for those of you who may not feel comfortable coming back to the church in person. I have outlined some of the special procedures we will be following below and ask that you read them carefully before attending on Sunday. I have also attached the video shared on FaceBook regarding the content of this email.

Guidelines for Worship Services:

Masks: You are welcome and encouraged to wear your own masks and/or gloves.

Doors Open: All exterior and interior doors will be propped open to minimize contact. Doors will be open 20 to 30 minutes prior to Service time and will be your cue as to when to enter.

Hand Sanitizer: There will be hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the sanctuary.

Marked Seating: Seating will be clearly marked and staggered between pews and sections to preserve social distancing guidelines of a 6 ft space between you and those around you, other than family.

Childcare: We regret that we cannot safely offer childcare at this time. We encourage you to have your family sit together in worship.

Limited Restroom Guidelines: We ask that you limit capacity to 2 or fewer persons in a restroom at a time.

Giving: You will be able to give your tithes and offering through offering buckets placed around the sanctuary. In order to preserve social distancing guidelines, we will not pass the offering plates.

No Welcome and Greeting Time:  While we are excited to regather, we must remember that everyone’s safety is our top priority. Feel free to wave and speak across the but please refrain from hugging and shaking hands as this may make some people uncomfortable at this time.

Hymnals, Pew Bibles & Envelopes: All of these have been removed from the Sanctuary for your protection.

Cleaning: We have been working throughout this time to clean and disinfect the entire church building. We will have people onsite to disinfect the entire Sanctuary and other areas in between services to provide the safest environment possible.

Our S.A.F.E Team will be available for you if you have any questions on Sunday and also to help us make sure we are following the procedures identified above for the safety of all who attend. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate this new normal and we look forward to seeing all of you soon.

IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND THIS SUNDAY, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL OR CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE TO LET US KNOW AT WHICH TIME SO WE CAN MAKE SURE WE WILL NOT BE OVERCROWDED.
